Sustainable

At M.gear, we recognize that addressing climate change is not just a corporate responsibility—it is a global imperative. Guided by ESG principles, we are actively transitioning to a low-carbon business model. Through rigorous monitoring, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable product design, we are committed to achieving a greener future for our planet and our partners.

Our Roadmap to Net Zero

We have established a clear, phased approach to reducing our environmental footprint:

Phase Timeline Strategic Goals
Short-term 2025 – 2026 Achieve 10% renewable energy usage across total electricity consumption.
Mid-term 2027 – 2030

Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 3% (using 2022 as the base year)

and complete comprehensive group-wide GHG inventory verification.

Long-term 2030 & Beyond Reach Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

Action Plans for Sustainable Growth

To ensure our targets are met with precision, we have implemented the following core initiatives:

  • Continuous Improvement: We launch rolling three-year carbon reduction plans, monitored through regular ESG task force meetings to track data-driven progress.
  • Operational Transparency: We define clear emission metrics for all departments, conducting periodic reviews to ensure accountability and consistent performance.
  • Green Innovation: We integrate eco-design principles into our R&D, replacing traditional materials with low-carbon and sustainable alternatives.

Performance Highlights

Our recent achievements reflect our dedication to measurable impact:

  • Climate Governance: Conducted two major climate governance sessions in 2024 to identify and mitigate climate-related risks and opportunities.
  • Carbon Reduction: Successfully reduced carbon emissions by 3.15 metric tons of CO2e and saved 23.89 GJ of energy through targeted efficiency projects.
  • Emission Integrity & Verification: Our 2024 GHG inventory, totaling 1,797.97 metric tons of CO2e, has successfully obtained third-party certification in August 2025. This milestone confirms the accuracy of our data and demonstrates a continuous reduction in emission intensity compared to the previous year.
  • Resource Efficiency: Despite a 0.17% increase in power consumption due to expanded production capacity, we continue to optimize our energy-per-unit efficiency.
